But what if your mobile number is not registered in Aadhaar? On the official website, they say that you have to visit the nearest Permanent Aadhaar Enrolment center, which is really time-consuming and difficult in our busy day-to-day lives. Here another question arises, how to get a lost aadhar card without a mobile number?

 

NOTE - This guide is for those who have enrolled for Aadhar card but somehow lost their physical copy, digital copy, and enrollment ID. People who don't have any proof but are still registered can retrieve their aadhar with this guide.

 

Retrieving Lost Aadhar Number and Enrolment ID Number

Steps to Get Lost Enrolment Number

 

1. Call 1947 (TOLL-FREE) and select language by pressing 1 for Hindi and 2 for English, then press one because you have already Enrolled your Aadhar card.

2. In the Next menu, wait till she mentions "To talk to our next available Representative Press 9" then press 9. Here, you have to tell them that you have lost your Aadhar card, but they cannot disclose this information to you and would ask you to go to nearest Permanent Aadhaar Enrolment center, but you have to ask them for the enrolment number instead.


For that, they will ask you for some verification to ensure that it's you or your acquaintance's aadhar. Once you provide sufficient information like Address, Name, etc., they will tell you the 14 Digit Enrollment number. You can note that down on paper.

 

Steps to getting Lost Aadhar Card Number

 

By following this step, you will get an Aadhar card lost hard copy at your home or at the address you have submitted during enrollment.

 

1. Call 1947 (TOLL-FREE), select language by pressing 1 for Hindi or 2 for English, press one again because you have already Enrolled your Aadhar card, and then Press one to check the status of your Aadhar Card.

2. In this step, she will ask you for the 14 digit Enrollment number and confirm by pressing 1

3. After that, she will say Congratulations, your Aadhar card is ready. Then she will continue telling some other details, and in the end, she will say, "Press 1 to know your Aadhar Number" after that, she will ask registered area pin code which you gave during registration.

4. After this verification, she will tell you the aadhar number and note that down on paper.


Order Physical Aadhar Card for ₹50 only (Without Mobile Number)


Uidai aadhar card loss is no longer a headache because now you can order a reprint of your Aadhar card sitting at home. To do that, you can use your Aadhar Number to request for Aadhar card reprint. Below is the guide to do so.


1. Visit UIDAI's website, www.uidai.gov.in.

2. Under Aadhar services, you have to select 'Order Aadhar Reprint.'

3. A new tab will be opened, and you will be required to enter your 12 digit Aadhar Number and the security captcha code. For OTP select, you do not have a registered mobile number, and then you will be asked for your number. Enter the alternative/non-registered number you have right now as it will be used for verification by One Time Password (OTP).

4. You will now receive an OTP, enter the OTP, and accept the terms and conditions.
5. On the next screen, some details would be shown so that you can verify that this aadhar card is yours.
6. Once you verify the details, click on 'Make Payment' option, and you will be redirected to the payment gateway.
7. You can make the payment through debit card, credit card, Net banking, or UPI, as per your convenience. ₹50 will be charged to order and reprint your aadhar card. Enter the payment details and click on 'Pay Now.'

8. Once the payment is successful; an acknowledgment will be shown on the screen, which is also available to download. A message will also be sent on your mobile number with the service request number (SRN).

Tracking status of your Reprint

1. visit https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-reprint-status

2. Enter the 28 digit SRN code as received by you in your acknowledgment receipt or your mobile.

3. Enter 12 digit Aadhar Number (UID), captcha code, and click Submit.
